Colourful Ayurvedic Energy Balls for Easter

The healthy alternative to chocolate eggs in the Easter nest

Ingredients

  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • 20 g pistachios
  • 20 g peeled almonds
  • 20 g of dried apricots
  • 20 g honey
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of coriander
  • 1 pinch of anise
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 150 ml of non-diary milk

Coating, to taste

  • Pistachios, ground
  • Coconut flakes
  • Sesame seeds, roasted
  • Cinnamon
  • Dried fruit, ground (e.g. raspberries)
  • Caramelised nuts, chopped (e.g. peanuts)

Preparation

Warm the milk slightly (lukewarm) and soak all the ingredients in it for an hour. Then puree everything together and shape into balls.

Choose your favourite coating and arrange in bowls or plates. Roll the finished energy balls in the different ingredients – ready!
