Vanita Kansal

Author

Ms. Kansal completed her 6-year Ayurveda studies in India in 2006. She then worked as a lecturer and until 2007 worked as an Ayurveda doctor in Indian Ayurveda hospitals. In 2008 she came to Germany and completed her training as a healing practitioner in 2016. Ms. Kansal has been working at the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen since 2012. Her intensive Sanskrit and yoga studies give her a deep Ayurvedic knowledge.

Sascha Weber

Author

After his apprenticeship as a chef, Mr. Weber left his home town of Traben-Trarbach to gain experience in his profession. Stations in his career include the Bristol Kempinski in Berlin and the Dorint Hotel in Leipzig. He returned to the Moselle seven years later and since 1998 has been contributing his wealth of experience to the kitchen team at Ayurveda Parkschlösschen, which he manages since 2016.

Katrin Völker

Author

Katrin Völker is a trained hotel specialist and has worked in this profession for 10 years on cruise ships. In 2018 she did a yoga training in Nepal. Back in Germany, she completed intensive training as an Ayurveda health consultant in 2019. Since May 2019, Ms. Völker complements the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen team as a yoga and meditation teacher and Ayurveda therapist.

Irina Fenov

Author

After completing her cultural studies degree at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Ms. Fenov began working in the press and marketing department of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen in 2014. She is responsible for the online channels of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen, such as Health Blog, social media, website, the online and inhouse marketing, current projects and supports press work.

Sumudu Weeramundage

Mr. Weeramundage comes from Sri Lanka and grew up with Ayurveda as a holistic way of life from an early age. After graduating from college, he first trained as a restaurant specialist and then completed further training as an Ayurveda chef. Since 2010 he has been bringing his experiences to the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen’s kitchen.

Carina Preuss

Author

Ms. Preuss successfully completed her international hotel management studies at the École hotelière de Lausanne in 2011. After gaining experience in the upscale hotel industry, she joined the family business Ayurveda Parkschlösschen. She became professionally acquainted to the family business by training in the hotel’s various departments and in parallel trained as an Ayurveda Lifestyle Coach and a yoga teacher. From 2017 to 2022, she took over the position of managing director of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen. In 2022, Ms. Preuss completed her training as a healing practitioner and is now completing further training as an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Oliver Seitel

Author

Mr. Seitel has been part of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen kitchen team since 2020. In 2010, he completed his training as a chef on the Moselle and subsequently worked as Chef de Partie in Austria and Germany, as Chef Tournant on a cruise ship and most recently as Sous Chef and Event Chef. Since 2021, Mr. Seitel has been the deputy chef at the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen.

Dr. med. Gerd Bigus

Author

After studying medicine and doing his doctorate, Dr. Bigus initially continued his training in naturopathy, pain therapy and homeopathy. In 2004 he completed further training as an Ayurveda practitioner and in 2005 he further trained as an Ayurveda therapist, which rounded off his deep medical and therapeutic knowledge. From 2010 until 2021, Dr. Bigus was a part of the Ayurveda medical team of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen.

Kathleen Landbeck

Author

Ms. Landbeck, born in the USA, came to Germany after completing her studies, where she worked as a healing practitioner with a focus on homeopathy and psychotherapy for over 20 years in her private practice. She later completed her training as Creative- and Art-therapist and worked further as a manager and lecturer in healing practitioner schools. A pilgrimage took her to India, where she encountered Vedic teachings and deepened her knowledge in Vedanta, meditation and yoga. Since 2017, Ms. Landbeck has been part of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen team and works as an Ayurveda psychology consultant and retreat leader.

Maria Hebel

Mrs. Hebel successfully completed her studies in nutritional science in 2015 and then trained as a non-medical practitioner and, alongside this, as a yoga teacher. In 2018, she followed a two-year Ayurveda training under the renowned Ayurveda practitioner Dr. Vasant Lad in New Mexico. Since 2020, Mrs. Hebel has been working as an Ayurveda practitioner at the Parkschlösschen.

Hannah Lehlbach

Author

Ms. Lehlbach initially worked as an educator before she began training as an Ayurveda therapist in 1993. In 1997 she took part in an intensive five-year training as a yoga teacher in France. From 1998 until 2022, Ms. Lehlbach worked as an Ayurveda therapist and yoga teacher at the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen.

Kira Hündgen

After working in marketing for many years, Kira Hündgen discovered her passion for holistic health and decided to train as an Ayurvedic massage therapist in 2014. This was followed by training as a healing practitioner in 2016 and successfully completing a 5-year M.Sc. degree in Ayurveda Medicine in the United Kingdom. She has also received training in Ayurveda & Pregnancy, as well as Gynaecology. Since 2023, Kira Hündgen has been supporting the team at the Parkschlösschen as an Ayurveda practitioner.

Tobias Lamberti

Dr. med. Regina Ford

Author

After studying medicine in Switzerland, Dr. Ford worked in the field of internal medicine and passed the specialist examination in internal medicine in 2006. This was followed by a Master of Science degree in Ayurveda Medicine in the UK. Since 2014, she has been working at various clinics in the fields of internal medicine, neurology and oncology in the UK. Dr. Ford is part of the Ayurveda medical team at the Parkschlösschen on a temporary basis since 2017.

Dr. Erika Helene, PhD/MUM/USA

Author

Miss Dr. Helene completed her training as a healing practitioner in 1997. She then studied in the USA and received her doctorate in physiology and Ayurvedic medicine. She started her medical career in the USA in 2005 and gained clinical experience there until, after returning to Germany in 2013, she opened her own private Ayurveda practice in Bad Neuenahr. Since 2015, Dr. Helene is part of the Ayurveda medical team of the Parkschlösschen on a temporary basis.

Ramona Gräßer

Ms Gräßer has been part of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen team since 1994. While she worked at the reception in the beginning, she quickly found her passion for Ayurveda therapy. Ms Gräßer completed her training as an healing practitioner, is an Ayurveda therapist and today heads the Ayurveda therapy coordination at the Parkschlösschen.
