Would you like to have a good laugh and do something for your health at the same time? Then the following exercise is perfect for you!
Stand in an upright and stable position, slowly lower your upper body forwards, with your arms and hands dangling loosely towards the floor. Now move your fingers gently, as if you were tickling the air, and start to laugh quietly. Raise your upper body slowly and steadily, letting your laughter become louder and louder and practically “growing out” of the floor until you reach the top. Once upright again, shake your hands high into the sky and laugh loudly into the heavens.
This exercise puts you in a good mood and is all the more fun the more people join in. It is upbeat and stimulates the circulation wonderfully. The exercise is a great pick-me-up for when you feel tired, and can also be practised outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air.
Laughter gives you energy and is “contagious” in a positive sense − try it out for yourself!
