People with a Pitta constitution combine the speed of Vata and the endurance of Kapha. They are driven by a strong will to win and must ensure that the self-imposed pressure of competition does not take away their enjoyment of exercise.

In general, Pitta types are persistent and powerful and can, in principle, practise all types of sport. However, they are particularly attracted to individual sports such as climbing, skiing or rowing. Team sports such as basketball or football (soccer) balance out the competitive nature of Pitta and promote positive attributes.
