Ojas-Booster Almond Milk

According to Ayurvedic teachings, the finest end product of complete digestion is the life essence Ojas. This subtle substance protects the cells, strengthens the immune system, gives a strong and vital aura, and increases focus and joie de vivre. Ayurveda recommends the following recipe for increasing Ojas:

Ojas-Booster Almond Milk

Ingredients
7-8 Almonds
200 ml Milk
¼ tsp Cardamom
1-2 tsp Date sugar/syrup (alternatively cane sugar)

Preparation
Leave the almonds to soak overnight in a glass of water, rinse them the next morning and remove the skins. Then add the peeled almonds to the milk and blend. Now add the cardamom and sugar and simmer for 2-3 minutes. It is best to drink the warm almond milk on an empty stomach before breakfast.
