Dosha Story: Vata, Pitta and Kapha in stress

Dosha Story: Vata, Pitta und Kapha im Stress | Ayurveda Parkschlösschen Health Blog

Vata, Pitta and Kapha meet after work in their shared flat.

Pitta immediately laments furiously: “Man, this stupid colleague of mine got on my nerves all day today with his usual know-it-all manner. I could burst with anger!”

Vata answers with a concerned look: “Gosh Pitta, you have a bright red head, you should go let off steam jogging. That is always good for you. If you like, we’ll do a round of Tai Chi together afterwards. That always calms us down well. I feel I’m on the verge of a collapse after what seemed like 1736 phone calls and twice as many emails. I could fill at least 5 books with all the talking I’ve done today.”

Kapha adds calmly: “Everything was the same as always with me today. I was struggling not to fall asleep, because it gets boring always doing the same thing. Monotony can also be stressful. I’m glad I can flop on the couch now.”

Pitta: “Kapha, let’s make a deal! Vata and I will cook for everyone after TaiChi, and you can give us your legendary foot massage before we go to bed. As you know, after that we always sleep like a baby. “

Vata is thrilled: “Suuuuuper idea Pitta.  I am not sure I can get any shuteye at all with all these thoughts of the day circling in my mind.”

Kapha agrees: “Okay. Although, I would also enjoy a foot massage … “

Vata: “But Kapha, you can sleep well anytime and anywhere, sometimes even standing up! You don’t need one. You could however jog with Pitta to balance your boredom. Run too.

Pitta agrees: “Great idea, let’s go Kapha! Vata, you prepare the vegetables. You can cut them at a snail’s pace, meditatively. That will slow you down a bit. “

Vata: “Okay guys, see you later, de-stress well!”
